Creative City drives cultural projects that are independent, innovative, and necessary.
We have a special interest in the relationships between art and place, art and people, people and places. Creative City are artists, with a cultural entrepreneurs streak, or cultural entrepreneurs with an artistic streak... Basically, we have ideas and the drive to make them happen.
In 2008, we developed, commissioned and produced ‘The Newspaper House‘ by Sumer Erek – which was our first project and an acclaimed success. You can read about this project on the blog www.newspaperhouse.blogspot.com
In 2010, we launched BROWSE Video Specs, which is a method of engagement using Video Specs. It's fun, intriguing, and records the point of view of who uses the Specs. www.browseast.blogspot.com
In 2012, we are starting to dream of designing a public garden with the community... Watch this space, this could happen!
